24 Carrot Golden Ale

Beer #1915 is a vegetable ale brewed by Stone Brewing Co in Escondido, California, America.

A strange tasting and unusual ale that is brewed with carrots, cinnamon, raisins and vanilla bean. I’m not a fan of carrots (or most vegetables, to be honest) but luckily the carrot in this ale never dominates, it’s definItely there, most certainly, but not at the expense of the other flavours such as malt, some banana, vanilla and a mild spiciness. A sipping beer for me, no doubt, but a very enjoyable one, and the 8.5% ABV doesn’t detract much all, being mostly very well hidden.

The bottle size is 640ML with an alcohol content of 8.50% (containing approximately 4.30 AU / 5.40 UK standard drinks), and it costs $25.99.

My Rating is 6.25/10 which means it’s a really good beer and you should try it if you get the chance.
