Back Home Gingerbread Stout

Beer #2005 is a stout brewed by Golden Road in Los Angeles, California, America.

I didn’t think I’d like this as I’m not a fan of ginger but it’s a pretty tasty and enjoyable stout, the ginger is dominant but never overpowers, giving it a spicy kick that is unusual for a stout. The 8.5% ABV is very well hidden. There’s some chocolate and also a strange medicinal taste to it that I can’t quite place but it works. Well, it worked for me anyway.

The bottle size is 473ML with an alcohol content of 8.50% (containing approximately 3.20 AU / 4.00 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $12.50.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).

6.50
