Beer #1880 is a double black indian pale ale brewed by Buxton Brewery in Buxton, England, U.K..

This is a sweet, almost too sweet, imperial black IPA that’s luckily a little roasty and bitter. The chocolate, coffee, caramel and a touch of licorice all blend together rather well. The 10.5% ABV isn’t noticeable at all. Well, not while you are drinking it anyway.

The bottle size is 330ML with an alcohol content of 10.50% (containing approximately 2.70 AU / 3.50 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $12.99.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).
