Cookies & Cream

Beer #1860 is a belgian strong ale brewed by Garage Project in Wellington, New Zealand.

A sweet and creamy ale, there’s a definite hint of chocolate, it’s certainly noticeable, a little spice and a Belgian-style kick from the yeast. I didn’t, however, notice the cookie connection. Interesting, but not as good as I was hoping.

The bottle size is 650ML with an alcohol content of 6.20% (containing approximately 3.20 AU / 4.00 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $18.00.

My Rating is 6.25/10 which means it’s a really good beer and you should try it if you get the chance.

Brewer Notes:
A touch of sweet indulgence made in collaboration with Auckland’s iconic Moustache Milk & Cookie bar. Brewed with Belgian yeast, dark caramelised malts and milk sugars to create a beer with a rich, juicy dark malt and biscuit character with just a hint of chocolate and a touch of spice. Go and treat yourself.
