Creme Brulee Sweet Dessert Ale

Beer #1754 is an ale brewed by Lobethal Bierhaus in Lobethal, S.A., Australia.

A sweet, but not sickly sweet, dessert beer that, not surprisingly given it’s name, tastes like creme brulee. The nose is non-existent and there’s little bitterness to speak of, and the Southern Tier Creme Brulee knocks it for six but it’s still a very enjoyable dessert ale and one that I could easily have again. And I was surprised to learn afterwards that ABV is 8%, not that you’d notice! The alcohol is certainly very well hidden!

The bottle size is 330ML with an alcohol content of 8.00% (containing approximately 2.10 AU / 2.60 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $7.00.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).
