Froot to the Beet

Beer #3663 is an imperial stout brewed by Bacchus Brewing in Queensland, Australia.

A crazy brew from Bacchus in Queensland that works way way better than it should. With a not to be sneezed at 12.7% ABV this fruited pastry stout is velvety on the tongue. Chocolate and vanilla, combined with raspberry, strawberry, pomegranate, elderberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, cranberry, acai, goji and – phew! – beetroot. The beetroot contributes a bloody redness to the stout, as well as a notable presence on the tastebuds, and all that fruit combines to give the impression of a very hoppy stout. Excellent.

The bottle size is 375ML with an alcohol content of 12.70% (containing approximately 3.80 AU / 4.80 UK standard drinks), and it costs $14.00.

My Rating is 7.00/10 which means it’s an excellent beer and well worth hunting down.
