Geuze Mariage Parfait

Beer #1871 is a lambic brewed by Brouwerij Boon in Lembeek, Belgium.

I wasn’t too wild about this despite the great things I’ve read. It’s probably not my cup of tea I guess. It’s sour (which I got used to and don’t mind) but certainly a little winey at 8%, with a little bitterness. It’s fruity (some apple and pear) and a bit of malt. The wineyness dragged it down for me along with the sourness as they were the dominant flavours for me. Again, not my style I guess.

The bottle size is 375ML with an alcohol content of 8.00% (containing approximately 2.40 AU / 3.00 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $14.99.

My Rating is 5.50/10 which means while it’s not bad, it’s also just rather ordinary.
