Haze-Le-Nut

Beer #3126 is a porter brewed by Northern Monk in Leeds, U.K..

My second from this brewery, my first was their Neopolitan Ice Cream Pale Ale. I plucked this from the fridge thinking it was a hazy IPA (it said Haze on the can) but it turned out to be a rather delicious porter. It’s smooth and very sweet, with vanilla, chocolate and it’s also a little bit roasty with a very prominent nuttiness courtesy of hazelnut. It’s also hoppy with dark fruit complimenting the other flavours. Excellent.

The bottle size is 440ML with an alcohol content of 6.70% (containing approximately 2.30 AU / 2.90 UK standard drinks), and it costs $9.60.

My Rating is 7.00/10 which means it’s an excellent beer and well worth hunting down.
