Honey Imperial Stout

Beer #3080 is an imperial stout brewed by 4 Pines in Manly, N.S.W., Australia.

This one reminds me of a home brew I made years ago which had an ABV of around 15%, also a honey stout. This one is 9% and is very sweet but not cloying thankfully, with honey well and truly upfront and with chocolate and toffee fighting it out close behind. The ABV is mostly well hidden. There no bitterness. Very good. Which one is better? That’s not for me to say.

The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 9.00% (containing approximately 3.60 AU / 4.50 UK standard drinks), and it costs $10.80.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).
