IPA

Beer #1748 is an indian pale ale brewed by Sail & Anchor in Fremantle, W.A., Australia.

I’ve had this one in the fridge for several months now and I thought it was about time to take the plunge. I didn’t like how this brewery re-packaged some of their beers, and changed the barcodes, it was very misleading. I’m pretty certain I’ve not had their IPA before so I’ll class it as a new beer. It’s not much of an IPA but if you treat it as a pale ale it’s quite enjoyable, sweet and malty but with a low level of bitterness. There’s some caramel and fruit in the background. It’s not great by any means but as a pale ale it’s pretty enjoyable.

The bottle size is 330ML with an alcohol content of 5.50% (containing approximately 1.40 AU / 1.80 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $4.29.

My Rating is 6.00/10 which means it’s a good solid beer and it comes recommended.
