Mum’s The Word

Beer #1873 is a cherry porter brewed by Siren Craft Brew in Finchampstead, Berkshire, England.

I took a little while to warm to this but, thanks to the Chipotle chili, I did just that. This is a cherry porter, the cherry isn’t that prominent but it could account for the slight sourness to it all. There’s no detectable bitterness but there’s a nice smooth chocolate taste, albeit rather mild. Not bad at all.

The bottle size is 330ML with an alcohol content of 5.50% (containing approximately 1.40 AU / 1.80 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $8.99.

My Rating is 6.00/10 which means it’s a good solid beer and it comes recommended.
