Nanny State

Beer #2676 is a black indian pale ale brewed by Brewdog in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

These days, due to ongoing health problems and waiting for the doctors to diagnose something, I’ve only been drinking non-alcoholic beers like Coopers Birell. I went to my old haunt Belair Fine Wines to see what beers of the low alcohol variety they had and came across this one. Brewed by Brewdog, the famous Scottish brewery, this is a tasty ale, given that it’s only 0.5% ABV. It comes across like a black IPA, sweet and malty but roasty with coffee undertones, and hoppy with tropical fruits in the foreground. Maybe, just maybe, it’s a tad watery but, ffs, I’m not going to complain. For the ABV it’s very good.

The bottle size is 330ML with an alcohol content of 0.50% (containing approximately 0.10 AU / 0.20 UK standard drinks), and it costs $6.00.

My Rating is 6.25/10 which means it’s a really good beer and you should try it if you get the chance.
