Hawthorn Pale Ale is our unique interpretation of this classic and popular style. This Pale Ale presents a rich and complex malt character, derived from a bold blend of five different types of grain. Lightly kilned, the use of our specialty malts gives this beer a light copper colour. The malt character is wonderfully balanced by the inclusion of five complementary varieties of hops. Sourced from New Zealand, Southern England and the US Pacific Northwest, these fresh hops deliver a saporous fruit and spice flavour, whilst a generous addition of dry hops after fermentation ensures a resininous floral and citrus aroma. Hawthorn Pale Ale is an all malt beer with no added sugar, chemicals or preservatives. Crisp and fresh, it perfectly compliments spicy Asian food where its balance of citrus lifts the seafood notes of dishes such as crab in ginger and chilli. Yes, it’s wonderful with food, or equally enjoyable on its own.
My Rating is 6.00/10 which means it’s a good solid beer and it comes recommended.
