Profanity Stout

Beer #950 is a stout brewed by Williams Bros in Alloa, Scotland.

Poured with almost no head (I swear I poured it right!), and little aroma in the bottle and glass, it has a very nice dark chocolate flavor, some coffee, mild bitterness. Bloody hell, it’s quite good!

The bottle size is 330ML with an alcohol content of 7.00% (containing approximately 1.80 AU / 2.30 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $9.99.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).

Brewer Notes:
Profanity Stout is the first in the Williams Bros ‘chapeau’ series, in which we celebrate the skills of amateur brewers whose beers we think are exceptoinal and should be made available to a wider audience. With Profanity Stout we doff our caps to Peter and Craig, the ‘Balls to the Wall’ brewing duo, who developed this recipe as students on the brewing course at Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University. The beer is a blend of rich coffee and intensely fruity hop aromas on a base of full velvety malty mouthfeel.
