Red Bellied Black

Beer #2239 is an imperial red ale brewed by Bacchus Brewing in Queensland, Australia.

Another night, another Bacchus, and it’s becoming almost a ritual. This is a red ale though it tastes like no other. At 11.1% the ABV is incredibly well hidden, coming across as no stronger than 5%. It’s extremely fruity like a red wine though it doesn’t have the traditional wineyness, and the alcohol is undetectable. It’s sweet, with some caramel, and a spiciness to it. Extremely drinkable.

The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 11.10% (containing approximately 4.40 AU / 5.60 UK standard drinks), and it costs $19.99.

My Rating is 6.25/10 which means it’s a really good beer and you should try it if you get the chance.
