Red Duck Sitka

Beer #1753 is a scotch ale brewed by Purrumbete in Camperdown, N.S.W., Australia.

This one sounded so nice on the label, ‘…an oatmeal milk stout…an assertive bitterness…rich malty characters…big creamy texture’. I reckon I barely drank 1/5th of the bottle. I found it sickeningly sweet with a gross lingering aftertaste. Very very disappointing.

The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 6.30% (containing approximately 2.50 AU / 3.20 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $12.99.

My Rating is 3.50/10 which means it’s an unpleasant beer to drink. (My tastes are constantly evolving so this one may be worth trying again.)
