Beer #3470 is an imperial stout brewed by Bacchus Brewing in Queensland, Australia.
An unusual stout, I’m not familiar with red velvet cake though, this pours a deep ruby red, thanks to the beetroot, and smells of… I’m not sure, it doesn’t smell of the beetroot or the purple carrot that is in the brew, but it smells like some kind of dessert in an odd way but I can’t say WHAT. The beetroot is easily detectable in the taste, being very prominent, the carrot less so but it’s still present. There’s a bitterness to it, but it’s also smooth and creamy like a stout, and sweet too. Very good.
The bottle size is 490ML with an alcohol content of 12.50% (containing approximately 4.80 AU / 6.10 UK standard drinks), and it costs $19.00.
My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).
