Rose De La Vallee

Beer #2248 is a pilsner brewed by Garage Project in Wellington, New Zealand.

A bog standard pilsner elevated somewhat by being infused with freshly crushed Pinot juice and then being rested on the red Pinot skins for 48 hours. The result of this is a refreshing but light hint of strawberry and a citrusy kick. Not bad, not great though. Fuck, I’m editing this, it’s 9% according to the bottle, I thought I was getting tipsy because I’m drinking on an empty stomach but the extremely well hidden ABV is to blame. I actually thought it was only about 5%!

The bottle size is 650ML with an alcohol content of 9.00% (containing approximately 4.60 AU / 5.80 UK standard drinks), and it costs $23.99.

My Rating is 5.75/10 which means it’s lacking something to make it a genuinely good beer, although it’s drinkable enough.
