West Coast VIII

Beer #3176 is an indian pale ale brewed by Bacchus Brewing in Queensland, Australia.

This started out as a 6 out of 10, the mouthfeel was a little thin I thought and the flavour wasn’t as in your face as I’d like, but the more I drank the better it got (perhaps as it warmed), with taste accumulating on the tastebuds unlike a lot of beers where the flavour just disappears after each gulp. Sweet and malty, with a big fruit and pine hit felt mostly at the back of the tongue as it goes down the hatch. There is some bitterness in there but not enough to get excited about.

The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 6.00% (containing approximately 2.40 AU / 3.00 UK standard drinks), and it costs $12.00.

My Rating is 6.75/10 which means it’s a great beer but it’s just lacking something for me.
