William Simpson Forefathers 2016

Beer #2181 is a dopplebock brewed by Stone & Wood in Byron Bay, N.S.W., Australia.

This is a very tasty dark lager, it’s sweet with dark fruIts, chocolate, some caramel and a little nuttiness. You can taste the alcohol with a 7% ABV but it’s never winey. Quite impressive.

The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 7.00% (containing approximately 2.80 AU / 3.50 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $11.99.

My Rating is 6.75/10 which means it’s a great beer but it’s just lacking something for me.

6.75
