Biere de Miel

Beer #1840 is a saison brewed by Brasserie Dupont in Tourpes, Belgium.

This is a pretty ordinary blonde beer, slightly enhanced by honey but the 8% ABV isn’t successfully hidden. While it’s not winey you can definitely taste it and it has a bite that I found a little unpleasant.

The bottle size is 750ML with an alcohol content of 8.00% (containing approximately 4.70 AU / 6.00 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $17.99.

My Rating is 5.25/10 which means it’s barely above average, and is saved from obscurity only by actually having something resembling a flavour.
