Cafe Cocoa

Beer #3394 is an imperial chocolate stout brewed by The Bruery in Placentia, California, America.

An imperial stout brewed with coffee beans amongst other ingredients. Sugary sweet and quite creamy, the mouthfeel is average, not thin but not as thick as I would’ve liked but I’m a bit of a snob these days. There’s ancho chilli in there but I didn’t notice, maybe it was that that was contributing a mild heat though and not the 9.7% ABV which is mostly well hidden. Milk sugar (noted earlier), a hint of spice with the cinnamon, creamy vanilla, and the coffee is kept at bay enough to never dominate. Very good.

The bottle size is 473ML with an alcohol content of 9.70% (containing approximately 3.60 AU / 4.60 UK standard drinks), and it costs $15.72.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).
