Creme Brulee

Beer #1025 is a vanilla stout brewed by Southern Tier in New York, America.

This is a very strong stout at 9.5% with an almost overpowering bitterness to it but it’s somewhat complimented and balanced by the sweet delicate flavour of Creme Brulee. I wish this had been my #1000 beer (instead of Vampire Slayer) but never mind, it sits very well at #1025.

The bottle size is 650ML with an alcohol content of 9.50% (containing approximately 4.90 AU / 6.20 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $24.99.

My Rating is 7.00/10 which means it’s an excellent beer and well worth hunting down.

Brewer Notes:
The British founders of burnt cream & from Spain, crema catalana, both stand by their creative originality & we respect that. But it was the French creme brulee that survived history. A STOUT OF GREAT CONTENTION. How would a brewery determine a likeness to hard-coated custard? Our response is simple resilience & finesse. Pour Creme Brulee into a glass. The incredibly dark & opaque beer reveals a thick head. Aroma leaps forward, sweet, creamy & uncannily true to the namesake dessert. Enjoy with – or as – your favorite after-dinner treat.
