Devil Dodger

Beer #1125 is an indian pale ale brewed by Sail & Anchor in Fremantle, W.A., Australia.

If this was a pale ale, it’d be a pretty decent effort but it’s meant to be an Indian pale ale and, as such, it’s a bit on the mild side for me. It’s fairly sweet and has a slight bitterness with hints of caramel but it’s nothing to write home about.

The bottle size is 640ML with an alcohol content of 5.90% (containing approximately 3.00 AU / 3.80 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $7.99.

My Rating is 5.75/10 which means it’s lacking something to make it a genuinely good beer, although it’s drinkable enough.

Brewer Notes:
The Bold aromatics of citrus, grapefruit, ripe mango and pine, hallmarks of the IPA style. Speciality malt sweetness and syrupy, piney hop notes balance to create a smooth, satisfying brew.
