Double Stout

Beer #1907 is a stout brewed by Shepherd Neame in Kent, England.

This is another attempt at something slightly different. It’s sort of a pale ale crossed with a stout. There’s the smooth bitter roastiness of a stout, with chocolate and coffee, combined with the fruitiness of a pale ale. I’m not sure about the double stout label, it’s really half a stout, but it’s extremely drinkable and would make an excellent session ale.

The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 5.20% (containing approximately 2.10 AU / 2.60 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $6.89.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).
