JaffaCake Imperial Ale

Beer #3655 is an imperial amber ale brewed by Bacchus Brewing in Queensland, Australia.

The first of thirteen new ones from Bacchus that I received today. It’s a big, bold and boozy imperial ale, clocking in with a 13.7% ABV. Orange upfront, very zesty, chocolate close behind. The ABV isn’t entirely hidden but it’s not a problem, and it contributes a little burning sensation as it goes down. Excellent.

The bottle size is 375ML with an alcohol content of 13.70% (containing approximately 4.10 AU / 5.10 UK standard drinks), and it costs $14.00.

My Rating is 7.00/10 which means it’s an excellent beer and well worth hunting down.
