Old Guardian

Beer #1670 is a barley-wine style ale brewed by Stone Brewing Co in Escondido, California, America.

A barley wine style ale that’s more like an IPA than a barley wine, this is terrific stuff with a thick and creamy mouthfeel, bitter burnt toffee, caramel, grapefruit, malt and hops. The 11.6% ABV simply isn’t an issue, contributing a welcome warmth but nothing more.

The bottle size is 640ML with an alcohol content of 11.60% (containing approximately 5.90 AU / 7.40 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $24.99.

My Rating is 7.25/10 which means it’s a terrific beer.
