Ranga Tang

Beer #990 is a red ale brewed by Clare Valley Brewing in Sevenhill, S.A., Australia.

A very good red ale, tastes of toffee apple and caramel, malty with nutty characteristics.

The bottle size is 330ML with an alcohol content of 4.50% (containing approximately 1.20 AU / 1.50 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $3.85.

My Rating is 6.50/10 which means it’s a very good beer, usually very tasty or bitter (which I love!).

Brewer Notes:
With a feisty and complex character, our red ale is brewed for the discerning drinker, looking for rare, flavoursome beers of distinction. The extended kilning of the red malts give this beer its striking complexion and intriguing, if slightly nutty, appeal. Look for caramel and biscuity flavours, amongst toffee-apple and treacle on the mid palate. The hops are Aussie Summer, a spritely filly of a variety, with their own noble derived fruity flair. This beer has the versatility of a top-shelf tulip-glass affair, or a six pack quaffer.
