Rogue Farms Marrionberry Braggot

Beer #1836 is a braggot brewed by Rogue Ales in Newport, Oregon, America.

A very sweet though reasonably bitter braggot, and sweet from the honey that was put into the brew, this is extremely fruity and tastes very much like sherry. I had trouble finishing this 750ml bottle at 11.42% ABV, partly due to the sweetness but mostly due to the alcohol content. While it doesn’t taste winey, the alcohol certainly burns, leaving a welcome warmth in your mouth. Very good, but I won’t be having it again.

The bottle size is 750ML with an alcohol content of 11.42% (containing approximately 6.80 AU / 8.60 UK standard drinks), and it cost me $27.99.

My Rating is 6.25/10 which means it’s a really good beer and you should try it if you get the chance.
