Root of all Evil

Beer #3228 is a gose brewed by Bacchus Brewing in Queensland, Australia.

A belated but excellent Halloween beer (I had three other Halloween beers from Bacchus on the night but couldn’t find the space in my bloodstream for this one). There’s some sweetness to it, but the salty gose shines through, and the pomegranate brings out a tart fruitiness that doesn’t overwhelm. The beetroot bleeds through too, contributing an earthy character as well as lending a blood red appearance to the beer.

The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 7.80% (containing approximately 3.10 AU / 3.90 UK standard drinks), and it costs $12.00.

My Rating is 7.00/10 which means it’s an excellent beer and well worth hunting down.
