Beer #2525 is an imperial stout brewed by Bacchus Brewing in Queensland, Australia.
Yet another Bacchus, this time a 12% Russian Imperial Stout that was five years in the making. It’s a creamy and smooth stout, definitely a sipper, a little spicy from the rye, smelling and tasting of cherry and chocolate, and brewed with extra dark candi syrup to give it a robust sweetness. Aged in parts for two years in rum barrels, two years in Octamore Islay barrels, and then blended and aged for three years. Quite impressive.
The bottle size is 500ML with an alcohol content of 12.00% (containing approximately 4.70 AU / 6.00 UK standard drinks), and it costs $34.00.
My Rating is 6.75/10 which means it’s a great beer but it’s just lacking something for me.
