White Chocolate

Beer #3377 is a wheat-wine style ale brewed by The Bruery in Placentia, California, America.

This barley wine style ale is, for me and possibly only me, a rare misfire from The Bruery. While it’s drinkable, it reaches a whopping 14.8% (which is not the highest ABV that I’ve ever had) and it doesn’t hide that at well at all. It comes across as very winey, a touch too much for my own tastes. Sure, I can taste chocolate and a fair bit of coconut, vanilla also, but the wineyness on this one is impenetrable.

The bottle size is 473ML with an alcohol content of 14.80% (containing approximately 5.50 AU / 7.00 UK standard drinks), and it costs $27.20.

My Rating is 5.50/10 which means while it’s not bad, it’s also just rather ordinary.
